My name is Vita Pagh.
I'm a Danish artist living in the beautiful countryside of Sweden. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by the art and craftwork from different cultures around the world. Since the beginning of civilization, mankind has always had the wish (need!) of expressing ourselves without words.
We have crossed barriers of language, race and religion by communicating through signs from music, dance and decoration/pictures in many various ways.
I have been following our ancestors traditions by creating my own signs of expressions! Through both my paintings & collages I wish to communicate with you and at the same time pay tribute to the craftwork, fantasy and intelligence of mankind, who can create so many wonderful things, when they think and act positively.
My primary source of inspiration are nature, music, architecture, archaeology...and cats! Everyday I have the fortune of being surrounded by the nature I love and when my favorite music of Mozart or Bach is played, I cannot keep away from paper, paint and brushes!
I hope some of my paintings will bring you a new experience of texture, colours and forms.....and maybe even please your senses...
